Taiwan-Standard Senior Care Training at Mooncare in Partnership with APHA

Taiwan-Standard Elderly Care Training at Mooncare in Partnership with the APHA Association
With the rising demand for elderly care, senior care, and geriatric care, equipping ourselves with standardized knowledge has become a key factor in protecting the health of the elderly.
Based on that reality, Mooncare has collaborated with the Asia-Pacific Health Association (APHA) China to organize intensive training courses aimed at standardizing caregiving skills within home and community environments.
Key Content of the Elderly Care Training Program
The course is designed around real-life scenarios commonly encountered in elderly care, patient care, and post-operative recovery, equipping caregivers with solid foundational knowledge before attending to clients:
Proper Elderly Care Guidance: Covering daily living activities, nutrition, and mobility support to maintain a stable physical condition for the elderly.
Risk Identification and Warning Signs: Learning to observe common abnormal symptoms in the elderly for timely intervention, minimizing risks during the care process.
Safe Wound Care: Equipping skills for cleaning and supporting wound recovery, which is particularly vital in patient and post-surgical care.
Lifting and Transfer Techniques: Practicing proper body mechanics and posture for transferring injured or frail individuals, protecting both the care recipient and the caregiver.
